Dear
Friends:
I'm
hopeful that this year is the start of some new beginnings.
I
am happy to share with you the release of my new title EASIER SAID THAN
DONE.
This is my first novel and I am so excited and motivated to get out
and meet as many of my supporters that I can. I’ll be traveling
across the country to promote it. I look forward to an invitation to
your bookclub, bookstores, panel discussion, university or special event.

trip, you can join me in sunny Jamaica in early June for a special book

of this website once the dates are confirmed.
I
can't tell you how much I loved writing this book! My roots are in Jamaica
so it holds a special meaning.
EASIER
SAID THAN DONE started as a short story set at Howard University.
It focused on the relationship between two students, Kingston and Damon,
and how they reconnected after a tragic incident years before. As my
writer-juices flowed, the story grew as I explored and developed characters.
The story line takes you on a journey from Chicago to Jamaica then back
again.
I
am in the midst of writing my second and third novel LIGHT MY PATHWAY
HOME which is also partially set in Jamaica. I wondered what would happen
if a woman who was raised by one family her whole life discovers that
she is adopted and her birth family is the polar opposite. Of course,
there are twists and turns along the way.
The
main character in INNOCENCE LOST is a budding print journalist who is
challenged by her editor to author an award winning series in order
to bolster the newspapers declining readership. She chooses to travel
from Chicago to her hometown of Rock Hill, Missouri to investigate an
unsolved mystery centering on the death of her childhood friend and
how it affected the community.
At the end of her journey, she finds more than a story; she also discovers
love and possibly a killer.
You
